This policy explains how Crownview Financial LLC (“Crownview Financial,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit this website, request an insurance quote, or communicate with us by phone, text, or email. Crownview Financial LLC is a licensed independent insurance brokerage.
The short version. We collect your information so that our own licensed agents can quote and place insurance coverage for you. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we are not a lead-generation business. Your mobile phone number and your text-message consent are never shared or sold to any third party or affiliate for their marketing purposes — ever.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. Your name, date of birth, email address, mobile phone number (optional), street address, city, state, ZIP code, the coverage amount you’re interested in, and your text-message consent choices when you submit a quote request.
- Insurance application information. If you choose to move forward with an application, the issuing carrier will require additional detail — which may include health history, tobacco use, prescription history, occupation, income, beneficiary information, and identifiers such as a Social Security number. Some of this is sensitive health information, and we treat it accordingly.
- Communications. Records of our calls, texts, and emails with you, including your consent and opt-out requests.
- Automatic information. Standard technical data your browser sends when pages load — IP address, browser and device type, and pages requested — as described under “Cookies and tracking technologies” below.
How we use your information
- To prepare insurance quotes and identify the carriers and products you may qualify for.
- To contact you about your quote request, application, and coverage — by phone, text (only if you opted in), or email.
- To submit an application to an insurance carrier on your behalf, when you ask us to.
- To service your policy and answer questions after it is issued.
- To keep records required by insurance regulators and by federal and state law, including records of your consent.
- To detect and prevent fraud and to secure our systems.
Cookies and tracking technologies
This website does not use advertising cookies, third-party ad trackers, cross-site tracking, or retargeting pixels, and we do not run third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics) on it. We do not sell personal information collected through cookies or tracking technologies.
- Essential only. Our quote form posts directly to our own server. We do not set advertising or profiling cookies.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) in server logs for security, abuse prevention, and performance. We also record the IP address, browser user agent, and timestamp attached to your quote submission as proof of the consent you gave. This data is not used to profile you or to serve ads.
- Embedded content. Web fonts load from a third-party content-delivery network, which receives your IP address as a technical necessity of serving those files.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time, and this site remains fully usable with cookies disabled. If we add analytics or advertising technology in the future, we will update this policy before doing so.
SMS / text-messaging program
Text messaging is entirely optional and is never required to get a quote or to buy coverage. We collect SMS consent through two separate, optional checkboxes that start unchecked, each covering a different kind of message:
- Appointment and customer-care messages — appointment scheduling and reminders, application status updates, replies to your questions, and service follow-ups related to your quote or policy.
- Marketing and promotional messages — coverage options, rate updates, and occasional offers from Crownview Financial LLC.
Checking a box means you agree to receive recurring SMS text messages of that kind from Crownview Financial LLC at the mobile number you provided. Neither box is required to submit a quote request, and neither is bundled with email signup or with acceptance of our terms.
- Message frequency varies.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or HELP for help. You can also opt out by emailing or calling us using the details at the bottom of this page.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. Opting out of texts will not affect your quote, your application, or your coverage.
We never share or sell your mobile information or SMS consent. No mobile information — including your phone number and your SMS opt-in or consent — will be sold or shared with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. The categories of data sharing described elsewhere in this policy specifically exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; that information is never shared with any third party or affiliate.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not operate as a lead generator. Your information is not sold, rented, or traded to other agents, agencies, lead buyers, or marketing companies. We share it only in these limited ways:
- Insurance carriers and their underwriters — when you ask us to obtain a quote or submit an application, we provide the information the carrier needs to underwrite it. This is the core service you are asking us to perform.
- Service providers — the vendors who help us operate, such as our website host, customer-relationship system, email provider, and telephony and text messaging provider. They may process your information only to provide services to us, under contract, and may not use it for their own purposes.
- Legal and regulatory — when required by law, subpoena, or an insurance regulator, or to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
In every case, the exclusion above applies: your phone number and SMS consent are never included in a disclosure made for anyone else’s marketing purposes.
Data retention and security
We keep your information only as long as needed to provide service, to maintain records of consent, and to meet our legal and insurance-regulatory obligations — which for insurance records can be several years after a policy ends. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect it. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
- Ask us what information we hold about you, or ask for a copy.
- Ask us to correct or delete your information, subject to the records we are required to keep.
- Withdraw text-message consent by replying STOP, or withdraw calling and email consent by telling us.
- Ask us to stop contacting you altogether.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy law, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. To exercise any right, contact us using the details below; we will not discriminate against you for making a request.
Children and eligibility
This website and our services are intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version, and material changes will be posted on this page.
